Installed capabilities

Websites, software, and the stuff in between.

I design and build custom websites, web apps, and tools. I also work on interactive experiences and games when the project calls for something less ordinary.

Some people need a better website. Others have a workflow that shouldn't take twelve tabs and three spreadsheets. Either way, the job is to figure out what needs to happen, make it look right, and build it so it actually works.

Website design and redesign

New websites, complete redesigns, and better mobile experiences. I care about the visual direction, but also the page structure, the content, and whether people can find what they came for.

  • New website design and page planning
  • Redesigns and visual refreshes
  • Responsive layouts and reusable components
  • Content hierarchy and navigation cleanup
  • WordPress design and implementation when appropriate
Website design details

New build, rebuild, or something in between.

You don't need a perfect brief. Tell me what exists, what's giving you trouble, and what you're trying to do. We can figure out the right size of project from there.

New build
Start with the idea and work toward something real.
Redesign
Keep what works. Fix what doesn't. Give it a better direction.
Migration
Move an existing site while keeping the content and functionality that matter.
Prototype
Test the interesting or risky part before committing to the full build.
Integration
Make existing services and tools work together.
Automation
Let a tool handle the task you keep doing by hand.

How a project usually goes

Talk through it

What are you making? Who is it for? What's broken or missing? I want the real problem before I start making screens.

Figure out the scope

We'll work through the pages, features, content, integrations, and budget. Then we can decide what the project actually needs.

Design and build

I work on the interface and the code together. We review what matters as it comes together.

Test, fix, and hand off

Check the important flows, mobile behavior, and launch setup. Then make sure there's a clear plan for hosting, ownership, maintenance, and what happens next.

Here's what that looks like in real projects.

Different problems, different builds. Open a project to see the decisions behind the screenshots.

Got something you want to make?

Tell me what you're thinking. A website, an app, a weird interaction, or a problem you want off your plate. I'll be straight with you about what makes sense for the project.

Start a conversation

Before we start

Scope, timing, third-party costs, and ongoing support depend on the project. We'll talk those through before we agree on anything.
